AGEL Clinic Awarded Prestigious Quality Certificate by the United Accreditation Commission
The certification of AGEL Clinic follows the success of AGEL Košice-Šaca Hospital and AGEL Komárno Hospital, which demonstrated compliance with the demanding SAK criteria last year. This achievement underscores the AGEL group's commitment to providing top-level care in accordance with international quality and safety standards.
Enhancing Quality and Safety for Patients and Staff
Preparation for accreditation involved the development and implementation of SAK’s safety goals and accreditation standards into the hospital's internal regulations and managed documents, followed by practical application of these procedures. Implementing accreditation standards serves as a tool for improving the quality and safety of healthcare services.

Receiving the quality certificate from SAK is proof of our continuous efforts to improve healthcare. Accreditation focuses on creating a safe environment for both patients and staff, proper management of medical records, safe prescribing and administration of medication, prevention of adverse events, use of safe medical equipment, compliance with hygiene requirements, and more. This comprehensive program ensures the provision of high-quality healthcare in a safe environment for patients and medical staff.
Commitment to Ongoing Quality
The certificate from SAK is valid for three years, and its acquisition is only the first step. During this period, the clinic undergoes regular internal audits to maintain its high standards. Once the accreditation period expires, a reassessment is necessary to renew it.
